LUIZ DEBARROS
Writer/Director

This 27 year old writer/director graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a degree in Drama and Film. He has directed a number of short films and documentaries that have been seen around the world. In 1993 he formed Underdog Productions with Marc Schwinges.

MARC SCHWINGES
Producer

Marc began making his presence felt in the film industry at the age of 11 at the Cape Town Film and Television School. He moved into the television-advertising world at Young and Rubicam. In 1993 he formed Underdog Productions with Luiz DeBarros.

TREVOR BROWN
Director of Photography

The man responsible for the stunning imagery of DEATH. Trevor began his career at the SABC where he worked for eleven years. He has since become a highly successful Director of Photography working on a variety of television commercials, documentaries and dramas. He is a member of the South African Society of Cinematographers (SASC)

VIRGILIO DA SILVA
Editor

A member of the South African Guild of Editors (SAGE), Virgilio graduated from Rhodes University with a Drama degree. He has been editing for film and television for over sixteen years. He has worked on a wide varity of projects including documentaries, television dramas and international feature films. He is a member of the South African Guild of Editors (SAGE).

JANINE TILLEY
Researcher/Co-ordinator

Janine is a graduate of Natal Technicon where she studied television. She has worked as a researcher on a number of documentary projects as well as co-ordinating and managing other productions such as music videos, commercials and documentaries.
