Marc
Schwinges: Producer
Marc
is a graduate of the Cape Town Film and Television School. He worked
as studio manager and agency producer for Young & Rubicam for five
years and then moved on to Underdog. With a highly respected reputation
in the industry he has produced all of Underdog's short films and
has begun to establish relationships with broadcasters and distributors
in Europe and the USA. He is on the National Executive Committee
of the South African Independent Producers' Organisation.
Luiz
DeBarros: Director
Luiz
has written and directed a number of award-winning short films and
documentaries, which were screened at festivals such as the British
Short Film Festival, Mix Brazil, Sydney Mardi Gras and the Austin
Film Festival. He has an Honours degree in Drama and Film and a
degree in Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand. His
work has won three Avanti Awards and a Mail and Guardian short film
award. He is a full member of the South African Scriptwriter's Association
and is currently developing the feature film Pressure through Underdog

Robert
Malpage: Director of Photography
Robert
graduated from the South African School of Film and Dramatic Art,
winning the award for best cinematographer. Since then Robert has
become a hot young DOP in the field of music videos and documentaries.
He has been recently asked to shoot a major South African television
drama series. He first worked with Underdog as camera assistant
on the award winning documentary Death.
Karen
Bosch: Editor
Karen
graduated from the South African School of Film and Dramatic Art,
winning the award for best editor. She was immediately snapped up
by up-and-coming facilities house Digital Assault where she works
primarily in the commercials field. Her obvious talent made her
the first choice in selecting an editor for Metamorphosis.
Anton
Noortman: Art Director
Anton
graduated from the Technicon Witwatersrand with a National Diploma
in Interior Design. He has worked as an award winning art director
and production designer on numerous local and international features,
television series, commercials and documentaries under his company,
Whip-It Creative. Highlights include the recent Tarzan feature film
and working with international production designer Herbert Pinter.
Ruth
Barter: Granny Lee
Ruth,
an old friend of Granny Lee, works full time at a well known florist
in Johannesburg. Although she has no professional experience in
performance she brought a great deal of passion and commitment to
the role. She has no immediate plans to change careers.
